Cosmetic Procedures

It's no secret that a beautiful, attractive smile can be one of your best attributes. If your smile is less than perfect, consider one of the many cosmetic procedures that we offer. Dr. Murray takes pride in using the latest techniques available in cosmetic dentistry today. Our cosmetic services include Porcelain Veneers, Orthodontics, Whitening, Bonding and Dental Implants.

Hundreds of satisfied patients have trusted their smiles to Dr. Murray, including actress Brook Taylor. The art and science of cosmetic dentistry has made major advances in recent decades and Dr. Murray attends continuing education seminars to keep abreast of these advances.

Porcelain Veneers

before porcelain veneers after porcelain veneers

A thin layer of porcelain is applied to the front of the tooth to dramatically improve its position, size, color, and shape. Created in a dental laboratory, these restorations can provide you with a permanent aesthetic solution in just two clinical procedures.

Dental Implants can restore not only aesthetics and function, but they are placed chairside in only an hour.

Botox for Dentistry

Botox can be performed only by a trained professional and Dr. Murray has received this specialized training. After completing his studies to become a DDS, Dr. Murray has continued his education to stay current.

To you the patient this means: less pain, less bleeding, less swelling, less tissue removed, less down time, and less recovery time which is decidedly less costly to you.

The reasons we use Laser Periodontal Therapy™ are to:
Remove only the diseased tissue without removing any of the healthy tissue,
Maintain the height of the tissue around teeth,
Minimize pain and discomfort to the patient,
Get a closure of the periodontal pocket wound
Allow healing to take place.

Controlling periodontal disease makes it possible to save and restore otherwise hopeless involved teeth as well as create a balanced smile.

Sedation (sleep) Dentistry

Sedation dentistry is available for large treatment plans and phobic patients. We understand that some patients get nervous going to the dentist. Dr Murray is trained in sedation dentistry. In most cases our patients are not afraid of Dr Murray and do not require sedation, but we can offer it if you want it. He uses medication, or general anesthesia for your comfort during your dental procedure.

Orthodontics is the branch of dentistry that specializes in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of dental facial irregularities. The technical term for these problems is "malocclusion" which in laymens terms means "bad bite." The practice of orthodontics requires professional skill in the design, application and control of corrective appliances and/or braces to bring teeth, lips and jaws into proper alignment, achieve facial balance and bring about a beautiful smile!

Through orthodontics we can correct the following:

Open Bite
Over Bite
Under Bite
Skeletal Abnormalities
Thumb Sucking
Teeth Spacing

We also do Invisalign Braces. Play the following videos as often as you like.

Bonding & White Fillings

Before 1 hour Resin smile 5 minutes after Resins

Resins placed chairside to close space in less than an hour.

Bonding involves the direct application of tooth colored composite resin and is typically used to create a more attractive smile.

Tooth colored fillings are an alternative to the traditional metal fillings and fall into two categories; direct and indirect. Direct restorations are composite resin applied in one appointment. Indirect restorations (inlays or onlays) are made of porcelain or composite resin materials fabricated by a dental laboratory. These restorations usually take two appointments.
